Tychon Station is a space station built on and around an asteroid floating near the interior edge of Gojan's Circlet, near the edge of the Thuwasik system. It is effectively a suburb to Elgo Superstation, which lies on the exterior edge of Gojan's Circlet and acts as a system port town. Tychon Station is fairly out of the way and unassuming as far as stations in the Thuwasik system are concerned. It is here that Fellmech Industries had decided to build a branch facility, paying for the materials to build out on the asteroid, and building it with their own construction team.
Corporate has decided to use the Tychon branch to run one of their more quiet and below board projects.The project team assigned to it are required to design and build battle-ready mechs for their parent company. If they are ever found out they'll take the fall for the company. They've set this kind of operation up a few times already. Generally unpopular and somewhat desperate employees packed off to some not-out-of-the-way-enough-to cause-suspicion branch where they do the quiet dirty work.
The project lead, Jaxx Opplinier, is fully aware of this, the rest of the team suspect something of the sort, but prefer not to think about it. Character details here [not implemented yet]
